Mr. Riahi founded ICL Interior Architecture in 1989. His numerous design accomplishments in this field, his enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service led to the formation of the firm and continues as the driving force behind ICL’s success today.
Mr. Riahi remains closely involved in all aspects of the firm’s growth, its clients and their projects. His personal commitment to providing client service has resulted in client satisfaction and thus repeat commissions.
Mr. Riahi’s main thrust as President has been to develop ways of providing cost effective professional services to his clients while maintaining quality. His initial step was to create ECL Engineering Consultants, offering full engineering services to his clients. His second was to create a CAD service whereby his clients could benefit from these savings.
This type of client-driven and innovative thinking has turned ICL and ECL into entrepreneurial success stories.
Mr. Riahi is a licensed architect in the state of Illinois and is a graduate of the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.
Mr. Matthews is responsible for all architecture and design at ICL. This also includes space studies, project management and job assignments. Mr. Matthews oversees all aspects of the projects from the initial client meetings to the final walk through and punch list reviews. He is also responsible for management and coordination of the drawings and information with all disciplines involved.
Since joining the firm, he has worked with such clients as Superior Bank, 360 Degree Communications, Broadvision, OSHA, The John Buck Company, Ameritech, Presidio, American Express, Autodesk, Allstate Insurance Company, Romanek Properties, and Yellow Book USA.
Prior to joining ICL, Mr. Matthews spent over ten years with Montgomery Ward in their Store Planning facility department. There he supervised the production of fixture plan and interior construction documents used in the renovation of existing stores and installation of interior finishes/details in new stores.
Mr. Matthews also spent several years at Skidmore, Owens & Merrill as an architect responsible for the preparation of construction documents and presentation drawings for all assigned projects.
Mr. Matthews is a registered architect, an Illinois state certified Energy Professional, a member of A.I.A, A.L.A., holds an N.C.A.R.B. record and received his Bachelor of Architecture in Design degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Mr. Tejeda is responsible for all construction document coordination and production, construction details, as well as design conceptualization and presentation.
Prior to joining ICL, Mr. Tejeda worked at the Field Museum of Natural History. There he was responsible for the planning and layout of new office space within the museum and for the development, updating and revising of architectural construction documents for permanent displays and walk through exhibits.
Mr. Tejeda has been involved in the design and production of a variety of projects with ICL since 1990. He has worked on such projects as the Amoco Building’s public area renovation, The Chancellery lobby redevelopment and Honeywell’s corporate office relocation.
He has a Bachelor of Architecture Degree from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Early is responsible for all engineering consulting services at ICL and ECL, including fire protection, HVAC and plumbing. Mr. Early oversees all engineering projects from the design stage through construction documents. His responsibilities also include the coordination of all architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings.
Mr. Early joined ICL to develop and lead ICL’s engineering staff and was soon promoted to Principal, in charge of the newly formed ECL Engineering Consultants, Ltd.
Since his arrival, he has worked with clients such as Kraft/Neilsen, Abbott Labs, Cigna Corporation, and Mass Mutual.
Prior to joining ECL, Mr. Early was a Project Engineer with Facilities Consultants, Ltd. For almost ten years. He was responsible for project design, preparation of construction documents and project management. At this position he worked for the City of Chicago, O’Hare Airport’s International Terminal, Cook County Hospital and American Airlines
Mr. Early received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Dayton, Dayton Ohio and is a registered professional engineer in the State of Illinois.
As Senior Electrical Engineer, Mr. Jaroch’s primary responsibilities include production of all electrical, telephone/data and life safety construction documents. Mr. Jaroch is also responsible for coordination of architectural, electrical and mechanical drawings. He also serves as Project Manager, handling all client requirements design and construction meetings.
Mr. Jaroch, leading ECL’s electrical engineering department, has been responsible for engineering on corporate office relocation for such clients as Allstate Insurance, Reebok, IPC and William M. Mercer.
Prior to joining ECL, Mr. Jaroch was Chief Electrical Engineer with Klaucens Consulting Engineers for over ten years. He was responsible for electrical design, marketing, submitting proposals, specifications and design implementation. He worked on such major projects as: Evanston Hospital, Northwestern Hospital, Trans America, Wilson Sporting Goods and Crab Shack Restaurants.
Mr. Jaroch served as Project Engineer and Project Manager with Beling Consultants for a number of years. He was responsible for the electrical design and project management of numerous projects such as AT&T, Abbott Labs, Bank of America and Alpine State Bank.
Mr. Jaroch earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree from Marquette University.
